Springdale Serviced Residence Guangzhou

It was good in general: cool room, exceptional location not far from the shopping center and many shopping choices and eateries nearby and the TeeMall. The place was awesome, would come here again...

The rooms were carpeted with kitchenette, we all had a great stay on a business trip.

The location is the best, very close to bus stop to GZ ariport and the railway station. with the construction that is going on now in the city, Springdale commands the best location.

The hot water switch needs to be improve, as I need to turn it on each time I need to use, the switch is too high. Very hazardous should I slip.

It is catered to Western people. It's hard to find a reasonably priced hotel in China that is nice. Staff is good and speaks decent English. Still can't compare this to their sister hotel, the Ascott.

Charging for an extra cot ($40.00/night). Not offering 4 breakfast coupons for a 4 person suite.

I had one bedroom apt. for 2 adults and only breakfast for one was encluded.bed was not comfertable

Some of the service staff at the reception were more knowledgeable than the rest. The more senior staff were very helpful and spoke english quite well.

There were hardly any information for tourists. Taxis are hard to get, especially when we needed to go to the train station. There was no advice that we should book a taxi before hand, or should book the hotel car. We ended up missing our train to Hong Kong because the taxi came so late and no one knew how bad the traffic was. Furthermore, the staff told us that the train station is on 10 minutes away, and not knowing that there were roadworks and the taxi had to drop us at a taxi stand three blocks away from the station. It was a long and difficult walk especially for my father, 87 years old. I think that the hotel should provide more accurate information for it's client and perhaps offers transportation to and from the hotel.

The hotel staffs are polite. Is comfort but cleaning up the room not very well done.

The cafe/restaurant is small. Seats are limited. Food average. Should have few more restaurants or cafe.

The location was great and close to city center. Hotel staff were very helpful and most demands were met asap.

There was a strong smell of cigarets in the room, circulating regularly. You could feel that the room was slightly overused.
